Disney Outside the Parks: Homemade Memories

Now that we’ve all recovered from the holiday madness and winter has settled in with its cold, its time to bring some Disney magic to your house.  What better way to bring it home than to eat some Disney food.

One of the simplest recipes to find and follow is the stew from Rose and Crown in Epcot.  The stew is an Irish twist on beef stew.  My husband roughly followed the recipe.  I say roughly because he added more Guinness and some vegetables to make the stew a little heartier.  It turned out pretty good even though he added a bit too much garlic.

Recipes are not only in a Disney cookbook but are readily available online at pinterest, allears.net, magicalrecipes.net.  Just do a search to find whatever Disney food you are craving to bring home your favorite tastes of Disney.

So grab a bowl of stew, listen to some Celtic music, drink a Guinness, and enjoy the memories of a night at the Epcot pub!

Have a magical day!

She even named one of her dogs after her favorite princess, Aurora. She and her husband celebrated their honeymoon at Walt Disney World in 2007 and have returned for every anniversary. They have stayed at variety of resorts on property and traveled with friends and family. Adrienne and her husband bought into DVC in May 2011 and rewarded themselves with their first fall trip for some of the special events. Adrienne and her husband consider WDW their “second home” and have become the go-to people for any Disney related questions and advice from friends, families, and acquaintances.

Thanks for this article! I haven’t yet tried to make a Disney recipe at home, but there’s a few I’d like to try. I also included this post in my blog’s weekly round up. Thanks again!
