Come on along as we follow Br’er Rabbit and his friends on his adventures through the bayou and listen to some of the great songs from Song of the South, such a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah and Everybody’s got a Laughing Place. I will bet that by the end of the ride, you will have one of those songs playing in your head the rest of the day!
I really enjoy Splash Mountain: it is really cute and even though you know there is a 5 story drop at the end, there are enough little dips and a drop within the mountain, to keep things interesting. You can follow Br’er Rabbit as he looks for his laughing place!
As you ride along, you’ll find many of Br’er Rabbit’s friends including Br’er Fox and Br’er Bear. You glide along in your log to see the caves, the bayou, the ole swimming hole and the fox’s lair. This is a very colorful ride, even though a lot of the ride is a little dark. But not so dark that it is scary!
There is a height limit on this ride. Even though you are not strapped in, the sides of your log will not allow little ones to see everything there is to see. Little ones must be 40” to ride. This is also a Fast Pass ride, but I have seen times when the line isn’t too bad. Caution though, once in the mountain, the line can be longer then it seems since a lot of it is under cover.
Be warned though – you can get wet on this ride, depending on where you sit!
