The live entertainment at the Disney parks is so unique and unparalleled as far as I am concerned. My family and I experienced one of the best examples of this once at the Animal Kingdom. We were on our way to our favorite ride at the park, Expedition Everest, when all of a sudden my husband started scrambling for the camera. He said, “Oh my gosh, look at that!.” Read more

Thrifty Thursday: Smarter Than Your Average Phone
There is pretty much nothing I hate more than getting that horrible text message notice that someone on my family plan has gone over our data plan. How does that even happen?!
One thing I know for sure: I won’t be wasting my data in Disney World anymore! Disney World offers free wireless Internet access in all of its theme parks, all resort rooms and public spaces, and all feature pools and bus stops.
And it’s super easy to access:
Just select the Disney Guest network, accept the terms of use and you’re in business. Easy peasey.
Don’t expect super high speeds or anything super special. But it is wi-fi, and it is free. And it is a great way to keep your phone bill under control as you refresh the Lines App or access the Magical Meals e-book from your Dropbox account.
Have you used the free Disney wi-fi? Let us know about your experience in the comments below.

Thrifty Thursday: Like to Save Time at Disney World? All Aboard!
As a lover of all things thrifty when it comes to Disney, I always include being thrifty with time. When we visit Disney World, we want to fill our days with as much magic as possible. Of course, one can never do ALL that Disney has to offer in one trip, but that doesn’t stop most of us from trying.
One way I love to save time in Magic Kingdom, not to mention the footsies in my family, is by using the train, the Walt Disney World Railroad. There are many reasons to ride this scenic attraction. First, if you aren’t familiar with MK, it’s a great way to orient your self and figure out the lands and the layout. Second, it really is a pretty ride with great views of the castle, some green, and attractions. Third and thriftiest of all reasons, it saves time getting from one part of the park to another. Thrifty Thursday: Stars and Pancakes
I’ve done a lot of writing about cheaper eats at Disney World. Especially breakfast, which I love and totally swear by as a way to fuel up before a long day of Park hopping and fun times.
About a year ago, I first explored thrifty breakfast options at the resort hotels, and then recently we re-examined a couple of breakfast options at deluxe resorts. But in doing all of that research, I missed the biggest, thriftiest breakfast option in Lake Buena Vista: the breakfast buffet at Garden Gallery in Shades of Green Resort. Read more
