Thrifty Thursday: Stars and Pancakes

I’ve done a lot of writing about cheaper eats at Disney World. Especially breakfast, which I love and totally swear by as a way to fuel up before a long day of Park hopping and fun times. 

About a year ago, I first explored thrifty breakfast options at the resort hotels, and then recently we re-examined a couple of breakfast options at deluxe resorts. But in doing all of that research, I missed the biggest, thriftiest breakfast option in Lake Buena Vista: the breakfast buffet at Garden Gallery in Shades of Green Resort.  Read more

Everyone wants tickets to the Wishes Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace. What could be better? Awesome desserts, a great view and Tinkerbell flies right over your seat.

Thrifty Thursday: Affordable Snacks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Last but certainly not least, we need to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios to experience their tasty but cheapy snacks!  Hollywood Studios is just plain FUN.  Lots of shows, a few of my absolute favorite rides (ahem…Rock n Roll and Toy Story!) and while we are running back and forth through the park we work up quite an appetite.  This park is quite small, and while they have a handful of the snack kiosks around the park like all other parks, there aren’t as many snack choices here.  Read more
