I was talking to a friend recently, who just got back from their Disney vacation. We talked about everything she and her family did on their trip and how much they all enjoyed Disney. When I asked her what they thought of the fireworks shows, she said they had not seen them. They had gotten up each day and went to the parks as early as possible, but had “pooped out” before the fireworks were to start and went back to the resort before they began each evening. Everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a favorite nightime show. For me, while I enjoy Fantasmic, and love Wishes, my favorite hands down is IllumiNations.
The current version began during the Millenium Celebration in 2000….which means that it is 15 years old now. Nothing stays at Disney World forever, so I know it’s only a matter of time before this amazing show is Disney history. And I’m sure that what will take it’s place will be wonderful too. But there will always be a special place in my heart for these beautiful Reflections of Earth.
