Exploring Disney: Spinning with Buzz Lightyear’s Space Rangers

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Sping is a shooting gallery type game where you defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. The ride vehicles, called Space Cruisers, have two laser beam blasters in them. You are to hit “Z” shaped targets to earn points. At the end of your ride there is a status board where you earn a rank based on your score. Disney with Special Needs Park Breakdown: Blasting Off with Space Mountain

Last time we talked about how to make it through what can seem like a sensory gauntlet on Main Street U.S.A. Today we are going to take a moment to gaze lovingly at Cinderella Castle and then take a right and head into Tomorrowland. I am a big lover of Tomorrowland. It has fabulous music. Things are shiny. And it is home to two of my very favorite rides in all of Disney World — the PeopleMover (which just so happens to be the first Magic Kingdom ride that Tutu, Hubby, Baby, and I rode on our first trip, and then the first Disney World ride we brought Bubba on on his first trip) and Space Mountain. Thrifty Thursday: Become Part of the Show at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

One of my favorite things to do at the Magic Kingdom is the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club. Located in Tomorrowland, this is an audience-participation attraction and it is a lot of fun. It is a kid-focused comedy show but I am always one of the kids involved in the action. I don’t know if I have tattoo on my forehead that says “Pick Me” or what, but every time we go they put that camera on me. It is all in fun so I don’t mind so much but I am always surprised and a little embarrassed when I realize they’ve done it again.

When you enter the lobby of the theater, there are televisions on the walls. One of the opportunities to get into the act is to text your best joke to a certain number they post on the screen. If they use your joke, your name and state will be announced during the show. Once you get nearer to the auditorium doors, Roz is your hostess for some instructions and to embarrass Mike Wazowski.
