I come from a family where Christmas means 3-5 decorated trees, loads of twinkle lights, both on the inside and outside of the house, and as much holiday cheer as one can imagine. Oh and the gifts were always awesome and neatly wrapped under the tree. So my love of holiday decorations is pretty much embedded in my DNA. We saw Magic Kingdom last weekend which was pretty. Welcome to Mouse Morsels!! This is an exciting time at Disney World…as they made the switch from Halloween to Christmas! With holiday cheer in the air…Disney World has been transformed into a winter wonderland of magic!! And to help get everyone in the spirit…Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is just what the “Mouse” ordered! This exciting event runs on select nights at the Magic Kingdom from November 8th through December 20th from 7 to midnight with early admission at 4. A separate ticket will be needed to attend. What better way to get in the holiday mood than to snack on complimentary hot cocoa and cookies at special stations throughout the park while enjoying the sights and sounds of the holiday season? I’ve even heard that Santa Claus himself can be found in Town Square, so make sure your Christmas list is up to date! You can also join in the fun and wear your Glow with the Show Ears during the Celebrate the Magic Castle Projection Show as well as during the Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season Fireworks Show! As many of you know whether having read about, seen, or only imagined, Disney goes all out for the winter holiday season. From throwing parties, decorating the entire property, and even firework displays, the parks, resorts, characters, and cast members get into the holiday spirit and really know how to have a good time. As many of my fellow Affordable Mouse writers have written about and shown you pictures of, Disney decorates everything. From garland and lights, to gingerbread creations. The characters get into their holiday attire and winter gear. Think Mickey in a top hat and Minnie in her best dress. Even the princesses don their cloaks and shawls.
