13958283_10102287991349064_4809071425105704068_oPeople who know me know how much I love Walt Disney World vacations and that I have a little bit of experience planning them for myself and close friends and family. One question that I hear a lot is whether or not it’s really “worth it” to stay at one of the Walt Disney World Resorts. I could go on and on about the many reasons why I answer “YES” without hesitation, but today I want to highlight the value and convenience of Disney’s transportation – specifically Disney’s Magical Express.  Read more

Disney with Little Ones: The School Struggle – Part 2!

photoI received a lot of great feedback following the article I posted last time about whether or not to take my kids out of school for a Disney vacation. The overwhelming majority of people say that they’re only little once, family memories are just as important as formal education, and that as long as they are doing well and able to catch up, there’s nothing wrong with missing 5 days of school. I tend to agree but still hesitate and struggle with my own guilt about it. However, when I think about all of the advantages of going during the off-season, I am certainly tempted to plan a September 2017 trip. Read more

Disney with Little Ones: A Fun Freebie

13320476_10102155786847944_509023699658612440_oHave you visited Club Cool at EPCOT with your little ones? It is located next to the fountain by Innoventions West. This is a fun location to sample Coca-Cola beverages from all around the world. Italy’s “Beverly” soda is well-known among die-hard Disney World lovers as a lip-puckering, bitter beverage that is fun to watch unassuming guests try for the first time. Club Cool is great for people watching. You can also find some unique Coca-Cola merchandise available for purchase.  Read more

Disney with Little Ones: The Jungle Book

13071824_10102115821394034_2982706015604634220_oI have a confession. I have never seen the original 1967 animated version of Walt Disney’s The Jungle Book. There, I said it. Whew. Now that I’ve let you in on my little secret, we can move on. Should I also mention that while I have read my kids the classic Disney book, I’ve never seen any other version or remake of the movie featuring Mowgli, Baloo, and the rest of the crew until now? Anyway, I saw the new live action Disney adaptation of the classic, that is currently in theaters, last Sunday with my family.  For a bunch of people who do not have a longstanding love of all things Jungle, we cannot stop talking about this movie.
