Disney Outside the World: Missing Fall at Walt Disney World

Due to unforeseen circumstances for the first time in 4 years, my husband and I are missing our fall trip to Walt Disney World.  We are missing multiple visits to the Epcot Food and Wine festival, seeing Eat to the Beat concerts, and hanging out in the Chase lounge to recharge and rehydrate during our week long vacation.  We are missing Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, including Hallowishes and the Boo to You Parade.  We aren’t really sure what to do with ourselves since we aren’t packing and planning right now, but we’ve found a few creative ideas to pass our time. Disney World Special Events: School’s in Session but Disney is MORE Fun!

Dining at Disney: 2014 Food & Wine Festival

We have lived in Florida for a year now and one of the stipulations when we moved here was that I (Abbie) could become an Annual Passholder.  It was something I had dreamed of since I was a little girl.  As soon as we moved, I started looking up festivals and special events that would be going on throughout the World.  We were very excited to attend the Food and Wine Festival (F&W) at Epcot in the fall.  So I thought we should write about the upcoming Food and Wine Festival for those of you planning a trip anytime from mid-September to the beginning of November. Dining at Walt Disney World: It’s The Most Wonderful Time of Year

OK, I know Christmas in July was last week. However, The EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is quickly approaching. This popular event will take place from September 27th through November 11th. Food and Wine aren’t the only things you will be able to experience. You will find everything from celebrity chef demonstrations, and educational seminars, to even a star studded concert calendar. Some of the seminars and experiences do require a separate admission fee, but most of the fun is included in your park admission. Read more

Disney World Dining: Flower and Garden Festival Food

Most people wouldn’t think that flowers and food go together. The folks at Disney are hoping they do indeed go very well together.
