Located in Tomorrowland around the corner from The Laugh Floor is the very popular Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. This ride is available for passengers of all ages and heights, making it great for those guests under 36”. The neon black light effect throughout the ride is sure to keep even the littlest one entertained!
The objective is to use your laser cannon to earn points as you try to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg. Do you remember Buzz’s arch-enemy from Toy Story 2? Evil Emperor Zurg is stealing all the toys to increase his weapons. You will need to aim and hit all the glowing “Z” targets with your laser cannon. The joy stick in your star cruiser enables you to spin 360 degrees so you can hit all the targets.
Each star cruiser has two laser cannons, so you are competing against each other. Who will have the higher score to stop Zurg? Depending on who is controlling the joystick, can help or hinder the passenger from hitting all the targets you are aiming at, so think about if you want to control the star cruiser or let your partner do it!
This ride is fun for all ages and is a delight for the young ones, although hitting the trigger is a little harder than pulling the ball in Toy Story Mania. We do consider this to be a great ride because not only is it super fun, but you are inside in the air conditioning in those summer months!

Their philosophy on Disney Trips? “Each trip is completely different, like visiting Walt Disney World for the first time.” They both enjoy all that Disney has to offer, but enjoy Animal Kingdom and EPCOT the most. It is their goal that everyone who visits Walt Disney World has a magical trip with lots of memories to last a life time.
