There is a great character breakfast at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park that offers delicious food and a great experience. It only took one visit to become a family favorite. It’s called Donald’s Safari Breakfast and it is held at Tusker House in the Harambe Village in Africa.
Donald’s Safari Breakfast serves an excellent all-you-can-eat buffet loaded with delicious breakfast food choices, pots of coffee and a refreshing house fruit juice. Here is a list of many of the selections on the buffet line: a waffle station, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, French toast, yam casserole, cereal, biscuits & gravy, veggie frittata, ham & cheese frittata, cheese blintzes, beef Bobotie quiche, Dino hash, carved rotisserie honey ham, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, croissants, muffins, bagels, assorted breads, turnovers, assorted cream cheeses, jams, jellies and fruit chutneys, yogurt station, fresh fruit, assorted freshly-made donuts and sweet breads, pancakes with assorted toppings, and danish. Also included are all the coffee, tea, juice, milk, chocolate milk and soda you could want.
The characters available at Donald’s Safari Breakfast are Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Goofy. All of the characters are dressed in their safari attire and come to each table to meet you and take photos. In fact, when your server first arrives at your table, he or she will explain the layout as to how the characters travel, so you can keep your eye out while going back and forth to the buffet line.
Donald’s Safari Breakfast is one of the best character breakfasts at Walt Disney World as far as I am concerned. It is the perfect way to start your day at the Animal Kingdom Park. Next, head on over to Expedition Everest for some awesome fun!

I have never been but it is on my future list. I am not a big breakfast person so on our next trip we are trying Crystal Palace before the park opens. Yummy!
