I had a chance to visit Walt Disney World last week for a few days of research and work. Yes, I know, I went to Disney to work. Really. Cast Member’s Corner: A Very Merry Holiday Season Fast Approaching

With the fall rolling in it’s got people thinking about the holidays coming up.  Going into stores now, not only do they have Halloween items up, but also I’ve even seen Christmas decorations and heard holiday music playing through the sound systems.  With the impending holidays coming up it got me to thinking.  Many people, me included, travel for the holidays to spend time with loved ones and friends.  I’ve often wished to spend the actual holidays at Disney although I’ve never stayed for them.  Some people may not realize it but you really can celebrate the holidays at Disney and it can feel almost like you’re celebrating them at home. Disney Outside the World: Missing Fall at Walt Disney World

Due to unforeseen circumstances for the first time in 4 years, my husband and I are missing our fall trip to Walt Disney World.  We are missing multiple visits to the Epcot Food and Wine festival, seeing Eat to the Beat concerts, and hanging out in the Chase lounge to recharge and rehydrate during our week long vacation.  We are missing Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, including Hallowishes and the Boo to You Parade.  We aren’t really sure what to do with ourselves since we aren’t packing and planning right now, but we’ve found a few creative ideas to pass our time.
