Free Disney Dining and Room Discounts!

Are you ready for FREE food at Disney World?  FREE DINING, the most popular Disney World discount is now available!

 

Here are the details:

  • Travel dates 9/2/13 – 9/25/13
  • Must purchase a package that includes a minimum of 3 nights accommodation at a Disney Resort and a minimum 2-day Base Ticket
  • Guests at a Disney Value Resort receive the Quick Service Dining Plan for free. Guests staying at a Disney Moderate or Deluxe Resort receive the Basic Dining for free.
  • You can upgrade from the Quick Service to the Basic Dining for an additional $19 per adult per night and $3 per night per child.
  • Book by 7/31/13.
  • Offer excludes campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, 3-Bedroom Villas, and Little Mermaid Rooms at Art of Animation Resort. Read more

Thrifty Thursday: Like to Save Time at Disney World? All Aboard!

As a lover of all things thrifty when it comes to Disney, I always include being thrifty with time.  When we visit Disney World, we want to fill our days with as much magic as possible.  Of course, one can never do ALL that Disney has to offer in one trip, but that doesn’t stop most of us from trying.

One way I love to save time in Magic Kingdom, not to mention the footsies in my family, is by using the train, the Walt Disney World Railroad.  There are many reasons to ride this scenic attraction.  First, if you aren’t familiar with MK, it’s a great way to orient your self and figure out the lands and the layout.  Second, it really is a pretty ride with great views of the castle, some green, and attractions.  Third and thriftiest of all reasons, it saves time getting from one part of the park to another.
