I am often asked how much a trip to Walt Disney trip is going to cost. The answers can vary so it is impossible to give a definite response. The one thing I always stress is, save for the trip and pay as you go. This will make your trip so much more relaxing knowing you won’t have that huge vacation bill hanging over your head when you return. Purchasing passes a few at a time, paying on the hotel in payments and purchasing snacks or those hidden souvenirs for little ones a few at a time helps spread the expense out. When I pay for something or pick something up, it makes me even more excited knowing I am that much closer to my Walt Disney World vacation. Read more

Thrifty Thursday: Groceries 411
Garden Grocer is a grocery delivery service in Orlando. It’s a genius idea for a company if you ask me. You order your groceries online before you leave for your Disney trip, and schedule delivery for the day you get there or the next morning, depending on your time. They give you a two hour window and deliver right to your resort! One of the best parts? You don’t even have to be there yet! Your resort will accept delivery for you and will let you know your groceries have arrived:) Read more

One way I love to save time in Magic Kingdom, not to mention the footsies in my family, is by using the train, the Walt Disney World Railroad. There are many reasons to ride this scenic attraction. First, if you aren’t familiar with MK, it’s a great way to orient your self and figure out the lands and the layout. Second, it really is a pretty ride with great views of the castle, some green, and attractions. Third and thriftiest of all reasons, it saves time getting from one part of the park to another.
