I absolutely love walking around the Tree of Life, through the Discovery Trails and exploring the 300 + animals “carved” in to the trunk of this magnificent man-made tree! Not only is it a relaxing and shaded walkway, but it also gives you an up-close view of every animal and creature. Every time I have been there, I find other creatures I never saw before. It is hard to believe each leaf, twig, etc was meticulously hand crafted to become the icon of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Read more

Slightly hidden in Adventureland you will find Swiss Family Treehouse. This is not a ride, but rather an attraction. You must be able to climb over 100 steps, which seems a little daunting, but when you see the views of Magic Kingdom as you make your way thru the shipwrecked family home, you will forget those steps. While there are hand-rails along the steps and paths leaving thru and around the treehouse, you should not be fearful of heights and able to make the steps on your own. Read more

Some people feel that Epcot is not really a place for kids. I would have to disagree. My family has always loved Epcot, adults and kids alike. There are so many things for kids to enjoy in the World Showcase, it would be disappointing for a family to miss out.

Meeting characters is often on a to-do list when visiting Walt Disney World. When planning your Fast Pass plus reservations, there are several character meet and greets available. However, those may not be all the characters you were hoping for. I have heard guests ask cast members several times where a certain character is. I have also observed cast members checking their pocket schedule to find the answer. Read more
