Terrific Tuesdays: The Holiday Season Comes to Hollywood Studios

One of the best things about the Holiday Season at Walt Disney World is the decorations. Every park, every resort, every shop and dining location – all are decked out in imaginative, beautiful,  and fun decorations that of course are themed to the location. Truly, taking time during your Disney vacation to do a “decoration tour” should be on your itinerary!

This year, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting some new decor that is super retro and super fun! Take a look! Read more

Disney with Little Ones: Memory Maker

I’ll be the first to admit that I was skeptical about getting my money’s worth out of Memory Maker, and consequently very hesitant to pay the $169 purchase price. If there is one thing Disney is good at (and there are actually many things they are good at of course) it is celebrating holidays. All you have to do is take one look at the breathtaking Castle Dream Lights  on Cinderella Castle to know that the most wonderful…and magical… time of the year has arrived at Walt Disney World. Terrific Tuesdays: Nighttime Epcot

No matter how many times you visit EPCOT, for me, seeing it at night is a whole new experience. Disney does such a great job changing the atmosphere from the day light hours to the night time hours. During the day, everything is visible, everything is bright and cheery, but at night things become cozier, more romantic, more exotic, more exciting. This is especially true at EPCOT, and as you see Space Ship Earth in the dark towering above the entrance glowing with such vivid lights, it just takes my breath away every time. Read more
