Exploring Disney: More Hidden Details and Secrets to Discover on Your Visit

Some say you could spend everyday of a full year in Walt Disney World and finally get to see everything there is to offer. I disagree. Part of the Wonder and magic of Disney is that it is always changing, progressing, and growing. It was Walt’s vision that his magnificent project would never truly be finished. As long as there was imagination in the world, he contended, the parks would never stop changing. Even if there was a halt to the progress, however, I still don’t think a year would be enough to see and do it all, and that’s because of all the amazing little hidden details and secrets tucked throughout the rides and parks just waiting to be discovered. These are rarely shown off, never advertised, but that makes them all the more delightful. A few weeks ago we went on a scavenger hunt together, and today I’ve put together another for you so you can make your next visit to the world full of richer,  more immersive detail.

Affordable Disney: Disney Visa Savings and Fun

We LOVE going to Walt Disney World, it really is our MAGICAL vacation spot!! We also love to save money on our trips any way we can.  One of our favorite ways to save is to use our Disney VISA Credit Card (debit Cards work too).  We like to use our card during the year to save up the Rewards Dollars to use for the souvenirs or snacks we KNOW we are going to buy each trip.  About a month before we leave, we go online and order our Disney Rewards Redemption Cards so they will arrive in the mail in plenty of time (they are re-loadable for future rewards).  All the Rewards Dollars we accrue can be used to pay for just about anything on our Disney vacation! If you’ve been following me for a while, you know exactly the type my family falls into. We are definitely not the ones to take a slow approach to touring and we are even more definitely not the type to take a long break in the middle of the day. The way we think of it is if we wanted to sit around by a pool for hours, we’d just go to the local water park back home. We’re in Disney, so we want to be enjoying our Disney magic. Which means we try to squeeze every drop possible out of our days. Now, I’m not going to tell you we’re rope drop people. I’m a rope drop people. I LOVE getting a super early start and being one of the first people to greet a park in the morning. (Have you ever heard that blissful welcome message and music?) Read more
