There are smart phone applications for just about everything nowadays. There is even one to tell you how long the waits are at the various rides at Disney parks. For those of us who either can’t afford a smart phone, choose not to have one, or just don’t want to use the apps for that purpose, we can still rely on the old fashioned tip boards to fill us in.

Princesses With A Plan: Packing for Our Disney Trip
Now that we have booked our flight, Susan and I have been making checklists of what we want to pack for our upcoming trip. We will pack most of our things in our checked baggage, but we want to make sure that we have any necessary items in our carry on bags as well.
Because of TSA rules, we have been picking up travel-sized toiletries whenever we see them on sale. *The rules say that liquids and gels must be in 3-oz containers and then these containers must be put inside one clear, quart-sized zip-top bag. Our lightweight carry on suitcases will include our essential items, just in case our luggage gets lost. Also, we will be going to the park immediately, so we want to make sure that all the necessary items for park touring are included in our carry on bags as well. Read more
Princesses With A Plan: Choosing Our Flight to Walt Disney World

- The airport nearest our home is smaller, easier to get around in, and is more familiar.
- We both prefer Southwest Airlines as we have had excellent service from them in the past; and Southwest not only flies to Orlando, but our closest airport happens to be one of its hubs.

As I was searching through all of the pictures we have accumulated through the years, I was reminded of such wonderful memories. Read more
It’s Snack Time in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
JAMBO, EVERYONE!!!! The latest addition to the Walt Disney World parks is Animal Kingdom – the gateway to all things 4-legged! The animals there graze and snack away all day long, and I am no different!! Although AK is my LEAST favorite of the parks, it is my 1st choice for snacks. Due to the heat of the Florida summers, it is best to keep your snacks light & cool when visiting this park, and with all of their great choices, this is not hard to do. Read more
