Free Dining or No Free Dining, That is the Question

DISCLAIMER: Before I start, let me just say that I have NO inside information, and absolutely NO knowledge of when or if Free Dining will be offered this year. The following is not an official position of any company, but merely my own PERSONAL opinion, in response to the many questions that are circulating about this at the moment.…………Now that we have that out of the way, we now return you to your regularly scheduled blog post. 🙂  ~ Nancy

If you have spent any time at all online, whether you are planning your first Disney vacation or your 20th, you have probably heard about Disney’s awesome promotion, Free Dining. As in, you get your food as part of a Disney vacation package, for free. Many Disney veterans plan their trips around this promotion, often changing their dates if needed, in order to qualify. And even folks who have never been to Walt Disney World at all, have heard through the grapevine of this Holy Grail of Disney promotions. Wordless Wednesday: Mexico

La Cantina de San Angel is a quick service restaurant in the Mexico Pavilion. Great food and excellent views. Just be cautious of the birds that tend to hang out looking for crumbs. This is a good option for those guest that prefer to dine outdoors! You can find some of the same things on the menu as in La Hacienda De San Angel which is a very popular spot for those that enjoy Mexican.

Find out how the FREE services of a Disney World travel agent can make planning your Disney vacation simple and STRESS FREE!

Karen grew up in the Boston area and traveled to Disney World many times with her parents and sister. Always staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins gave the trips a feeling of a home away from home. It also started the tradition of attending the Hoop Dee Doo Review on each trip! Somehow that show sparked her interest in the Disney College Program. Which she did in the fall of 2002, working as a hostess @ Captain Jacks in Downtown Disney. Now as an adult, Karen finds herself traveling to the parks on a yearly basis! Photography has always been a hobby of Karen’s, but over the past few years it has become her passion. It’s even taken her to her favorite place! The Make a Wish Foundation sent a family to Disney for a week and Karen was lucky enough to be their photographer of choice! She got to tag along and photograph their memories being made. She hopes to get that experience again someday! You can find more of Karen’s photography on her site www.KPportraits.com.

Each year, I try to incorporate new activities into our trips to replace the special things we did when they were younger. One of the new favorite activities I began doing a few years ago is the “Monorail Mania Meal.” Being from an Italian family, most of our best visiting has often ensued in the kitchen around a meal, so I guess it is no stretch of the imagination that I began this tradition in the same way.
