Terrific Tuesdays: Disney Shopping

     

One thing you have to leave with after your magical trip to Walt Disney World is a souvenir.  Shopping experiences are plentiful at the parks, resorts and Downtown Disney.

Each park has shops scattered throughout to represent the world or country you are in.  At the Magic Kingdom, you’ll find everything from Agrabah Bazaar in  Adventureland, selling Aladdin type clothing and toys with other Arabian themed items to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square that sells gifts, toys and ornaments all year round.  We often stop at the sleigh beside the shop and have a family photo made to put on our Christmas cards, even in the middle of summer.   Read more

Dining at Walt Disney World: New Offerings at Downtown Disney

With the ongoing construction of “Disney Springs”, Downtown Disney is beginning to give guests newer and faster dining options, adding more walk-up options for you to feast on the go.

Being a chef I am a huge fan of food trucks. These restaurants on wheels give young chefs a chance to branch out and be creative without being tied down to one location. For diners it gives them an opportunity to sample many different things quickly and cheaply. This trend in food service has made it’s way to Downtown Disney.
