Can you believe The Lion King is celebrating its 20^th anniversary? It’s true! Disney’s Animal Kingdom is hosting Harambe Nights every Saturday evening June 7 – August 9, 2014. A Welcome Reception begins at 7:00 pm with appetizers and African-inspired beer and wine, followed by a special performance of The Lion King – Concert in the Wild at 7:30 pm. A little bird whispered that this was a new-improved version of the spectacular previous live version. Simba comes to life in this brand new performance featuring a live orchestra and choir, dancers, dramatic lighting and scenes and digitally projected movie moments! Disney World is a magical place, but it is full of PEOPLE every day! I have learned that if you are the type of person who gets annoyed by people easily, you may have a hard time enjoying yourself. I am someone who strongly believes in considering others, so when that ethical “rule” is broken, I can get upset. At Disney, however, I understand that there are all types of people, all ages, from all different cultures who may not have the same social ideas!
