
So you made it to Walt Disney World. With your kids. Maybe you’d been before you had kids and rode all the rides and watched every show to your heart’s content. Maybe you’ve never been before and did not realize that attractions for humans over three and a half feet tall even existed. But now you’re here and you’re looking at the guide map. You realize all of the sudden that there are grown-up things to do. You look at the other grown-up or grown-ups with you and think to yourself, “it sure would be fun to try those thrill rides.” You feel a little guilty, but you shouldn’t. Several years ago, my husband and I were in need of a “chill” place and a cool adult beverage on our Disney vacation. I suggested just that and his response was – “you can’t find that here!” We were in Disney Hollywood Studios at the time. “HA-watch me” was my response! After finding a great shaded picnic table beside The Great Movie Ride, I set off to get our adult beverages. At the first kiosk cart I found, they served beer. Needless to say I was the hero that day! 

As we’re counting down to our next trip, little bits of Disney are already arriving to make us anticipate our trip even more. We’ve gotten a magnet and some brochures reminding us to customize our Magicbands and set up FastPass+.
