As I mentioned in my previous post, we are down to single-digit weeks in our Disney World vacation countdown. We are getting really excited and for me, part of the excitement is in the planning. Terrific Tuesdays: In the Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room

 

One of Uncle Walt’s original creations, the Enchanted Tiki Room at the Magic Kingdom has changed a few times since it’s beginning.  It was one of the original attractions when Magic Kingdom first opened, and as many of the other rides and attractions were, was brought over from Disneyland.  Walt’s original idea was to have it as a restaurant with real birds, but then he thought about the mess that would have meant, and…it became animatronic!
