Disney Quick Service Dining is More Than Chicken Nuggets

Walt Disney World has so many quick service locations, that it would take forever to actually name them all. And the variety of food available ranges from chicken nuggets to lamb shawarma in Morocco. (But don’t worry, even the most exotic quick service locations have nuggets and hamburgers for the youngest members of your party.)

Many people think that the food at Walt Disney World is similar to most amusement parks – and nothing could be further from the truth! While, yes, you can find hot dogs, hamburgers, nuggets, fries and your normal American cuisine, you can also find food from all over the world – you just have to decide on what you want! Below are just a few favorites.  Read more

Exploring Disney: Waiting In Line Is Not The End of the World

If you spend any time reading about, talking about, or in Disney World, there is one thing you are absolutely guaranteed to hear — complaints about waiting in line. It’s kind of amazing, in its own way. I, for one, never cease to be amazed when I hear someone say they will never wait more than twenty minutes for a ride. That seems like a lot of missed rides and frustrated walking around the Parks to me. Sure. I’ll level with you. No one enjoys standing in the Florida sun for hours waiting for a ride. I LOVE getting a super early start and being one of the first people to greet a park in the morning. (Have you ever heard that blissful welcome message and music?) Read more

Exploring Disney: Hidden Details Scavenger Hunt

There are many ways to describe Disney World, but one word that is particularly applicable is “iconic”. Even people who have never been to the parks know what the most popular sights and rides look like, and once you’ve been a few times, you probably feel like you could walk around with your eyes closed and know what you’re seeing. Here’s the thing— you’re probably wrong. Read more
