Taking the Whole Family to Walt Disney World

You’ve just spent an entire day with your family celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday, now do you think you could do it for a week-long Disney vacation?  As someone who has taken not just one side of my family, but BOTH sides of my family to Walt Disney World, it can be done!  It does take some planning and compromise, and it doesn’t matter if it’s with an adult only trip or includes kids, because the memories are priceless.  Now we’ve not yet taken any trips with kids, but are expecting to take my brother’s wife and kids in the upcoming year, so I have more time to plan this one. I just love the Germany pavilion and the Biergarten buffet in Epcot. This buffet is not for the faint of heart so be prepared to spend some time to fully enjoy it. You WILL waddle out of there! Read more

Terrific Tuesdays: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

 I have been a Walt Disney World annual pass holder for several years and am fortunate enough to go to the parks quite often. However my job does not usually allow me to visit near the holidays. This year is different and I was able to go last week. While I was there I was contemplating going to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. I had never been before and I was thinking if the only “extra” is hot cocoa and cookies, I can buy an awful lot of those things for the $70+ that the additional ticket costs. I decided that this maybe the only time I could go, so a small group of my friends went to the party. If you are on the fence like I was, perhaps I can help you make your decision.
