The announcement this past weekend that Disney will be bringing a brand new attraction featuring Mickey Mouse to Hollywood Studios was met with excitement by many who are eager to see the mouse that “started it all” have his own ride. Until it was shared that the last remaining attraction from the original “Disney-MGM Studios” – The Great Movie Ride- would be closing for good in just a few weeks in order to make room for Mickey’s new ride. Change is good but change is hard, and we will all miss taking this very special ride through the movies. Sadly, as they say in the movies, it looks like “that’s a wrap” for The Great Movie Ride.
