On select nights during September and October, the Magic Kingdom is transformed into a Halloween fun-fest during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. One of the the things I love about the Land in Epcot, is how light-filled and airy the space is. It seems to celebrate not only the land we stand on, but the sky above it as well, emphasizing the ties the each has to the other. So when entering this building, it seems completely appropriate then, to see these whimsical balloons, soaring overhead, on their way to who-knows-what magical place.

Now that it’s October, it feels like fall is really in full swing. With our most recent trip 5 months behind us, we are definitely all missing Walt Disney World. Our next trip will take place in the fall and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is going to be at the top of our to-do list. I do love the many, MANY Disney details throughout the parks, restaurants and resorts. You really do need to keep an eye out wherever you go when visiting a Disney destination, so that you don’t miss some new and charming treasures! For example, on a visit to the Villas at the Grand Floridian, I was so in awe of how lovely everything was in the room that I almost missed the delightful artwork, like these lovely silhouettes of Mickey and Minnie. Clearly dressed in their finest, they are ready to enjoy a stay at one of Walt Disney World’s loveliest resorts!
