Disney Magic Far from the Parks
For anyone looking for a blissfully peaceful and beautiful beach vacation plus the “Disney difference”, the good news is that two of my very favorite vacation destinations are the perfect solution – Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina, and Disney’s Vero Beach Resorts on the “treasure coast” of Florida. Both resorts offer the usual sand and sea that make a beach vacation a perfect place to relax and have fun. But when you add in those “extras” that you’ll find at Walt Disney World or Disneyland in California, the result is a magical combination. Disney details and service, but without any park stress? Sounds perfect doesn’t it! Read more
Exploring Disney: The “Art” of the Bathrooms
Let’s face it. If there is one place that you and your family will definitely visit on your Walt Disney World vacation, it’s the restroom – or to be precise, the restrooms. So while you’ll probably spend as little time there as possible, you also should take a few minutes to check out the design and details when you do stop by. Because the Disney Imagineers – being the creative geniuses that they are – spent as much time on the detail of the bathrooms as they did every other place in the parks and resorts. So you can absolutely expect each bathroom to be unique, and to reflect the “land” or theme where it is located. Read more
Paying the Magic Forward on Giving Tuesday
Tomorrow is “Giving Tuesday” where – after several days of giving thanks, and officially beginning the holiday shopping season – we take some time to “give back” and focus on helping others during this most magical time of the year.
There’s no question that this year has been tough in so many ways for so many folks. Countless families have dealt with COVID-related health issues, and many have tragically lost a loved one as a result of the pandemic. Economic hardships are also widespread with lines for food banks stretching for miles in some cases, as families deal try to cope with having lost income. Many businesses continue to struggle with loss of business and have closed or are close to it. If there was ever a year that we need to give back, it is this year.
As this season of giving always coincides with the “birthday” of The Affordable Mouse, it’s been my tradition for the past 11 years to celebrate by “paying it forward”. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to share the love and passion that I have for Disney and travel with so many, and even more blessed to have had the honor to help my wonderful clients over the past 11 years create magical memories with their own families.
The best way that I know to celebrate is to give back.
‘Tis the Season of Disney World Magic
It’s the most wonderful time of the year and no matter where you look…..up, down, and all around….you will find signs of the season at Walt Disney World. Disney’s Imagineers always do a great job but during the Holiday Season, they are simply amazing! Read more
