This weekend, I was preparing the presentation board which will display pictures and memories of Joshua throughout the years at his high school graduation party this Saturday. I have divided the board into several sections: School Years, Indian Guides, Faith & Service, Sports, Music, Drama and, of course, a section called Growing Up Disney. As I was searching through all of the pictures we have accumulated through the years, I was reminded of such wonderful memories. Read more

When we took our first family trip to Walt Disney World, my youngest child, Josh, was six. Next week, he will be graduating from high school and I have been spending every waking moment reminiscing about how wonderful these years have been. What a blessing it has been to raise him and just simply to have him in my life. My Favorite Disney Things: AFI Showcase Shop
You may not believe this, but I am not the stereotypical female. I don’t like talking on the phone, I will not stop to ask for directions until I have exhausted every single option, and I HATE to shop!
When I visit the parks, I am there to ride! I love to ride and I don’t want to waste my time shopping around the stores to find things I could find online or at Downtown Disney on a non-park day. There are only two exceptions to this rule, and both can be found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: one is the Writer’s Stop, which is a coffee and book shop that sometimes has celebrity writer signings (this is also a fave of Nancy’s and Kelly’s); and the other is my favorite place of all, AFI Showcase Shop.
