When Disney’s Free Dining offer came out last week, I couldn’t wait to book the special.  This will be the third year my family will be enjoying the free dining plan. If you have decided that free dining is the best deal for you as well, take note of these budgeting tips.

My daddy always said, “nothing is free.” Although it is hard to believe, the free dining plan is just that. The first time we took advantage of this program, I was very skeptical about what the meals would entail. Would we have to choose between two entrees, neither of which we liked? Would we get the entrée free, but have to pay for the sides? The answer is no! On the free dining plan, you will receive wonderful menu items with sides, desserts and drinks – and all for free. Offer is valid for check-ins 10/2/11-10/8/11, 10/23/11-11/5/11, 11/13/11-11/19/11, 11/27/11-12/3/11, 12/11/11-12/17/11, 1/8/12-1/14/12, 1/22/12-2/4/12, 2/12/12-2/18/12, 3/4/12-3/10/12 and 3/25/12-3/31/12. Some dates and/or resorts may have extremely limited availability.

  • Stay at select Disney Value resorts and get the 2011 Quick Service Dining Plan or 2012 Quick Service Dining Plan for FREE.

  • Stay at select Disney Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villas resorts and get the regular 2011 Dining Plan or 2012 Dining Plan for FREE.
