There are very few times when I get a positive reaction from people when I tell them that I’m going back to Disney. More often then not it is something along the lines of “Again? Really?” Most times it’s a really good over exaggerated eye roll. One of my kids’ favorite rides at Walt Disney World is Kali River Rapids. This attraction is located in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom. It is a thrill ride and there is a height restriction of 38″. This happens to be one of my favorite attractions in all of Disney as well, as it brings back so many memories of my childhood. I live near Nashville and when Opryland was here, we had the ride Grizzly River Rampage. It was just like Kali. Read more

Our bags are not packed yet but hey, we have 76 days until we hit Disney World with our granddaughter, Maddy! This will be her first trip to Disney World so we have been planning this trip since we made the reservations back in November. Lala and Papa can hardly wait to show her all the fun things to do at Disney! Terrific Tuesdays: Expedition Everest

From just about anywhere near the Animal Kingdom, you can see the snowy peak of Mount Everest. And the closer you get to the ride, the more you believe you have actually been transported to the Himalayas. Starting in the ride queue, you feel like you’re waiting to start your trek to find the Yeti – research, pictures, and artifacts from previous expeditions are there for you to explore! Bells ring the entire way, prayer flags are prevalent, tributes to the Yeti abound, the attention to detail Disney used when re-creating the villages near Everest is breathtaking. It’s no wonder the Guinness Book of World Records lists this as the most expensive roller coaster ever built! Read more
