When Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in Disneyland California and Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World last summer, there were a lot of things for folks to explore in this new “land”, including the new attraction Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. However, the “big” ride – Rise of the Resistance – did not open when Galaxy’s Edge premiered. Instead, this ride – that has had everyone who’s been able to preview it raving about it – opened just a couple of weeks ago at Hollywood Studios (and will debut in Disneyland in January). Now that it’s opened, and we are hearing from folks who’ve ridden it, we know a lot more about what to expect – and most importantly, what you need to know if you want to ride it. Read more

My 12 Days of Christmas, Disney-Style
(Editor’s Note: As Christmas is one week from today, I am taking the liberty of re-running a favorite Disney/Christmas post from years past – since I have yet to receive any of these gifts, maybe this year it will finally happen. I mean, a girl can hope, right? 🙂 )

For here, the Disney Imagineers and decorating staff, combined with the Disney florists, bakers, and pastry chefs, create some absolutely amazing Disney holiday magic. Read more

Exploring Disney: The Candlelight Processional Dinner Package

For many, a visit to Walt Disney World during the Holiday Season would not be complete without seeing the Candlelight Processional. Performed 3 times each night at Epcot, from the day after Thanksgiving until Dec. 30, this moving concert tells the story of the Nativity, featuring a 50-piece orchestra, celebrity narrator and a massed choir made up of choirs (including many student/school groups) from around the country. It’s a beautiful, amazing, and inspirational way to celebrate the season. Read more
