Cast Member’s Corner: How Do We Do It?

A week ago I asked what some people wanted to know from a Cast Member.  I’m going to work on answering everyone’s questions to the best of my ability and the first one that really struck me was when someone wanted to know how Cast Members seem to keep their kind and cheerful demeanor when some guests can be difficult.  If you think about the trips you’ve taken to Disney or any Disney experience you may have had the Cast Members do all seem to have a very cheerful and magical outlook, don’t they?  No matter the circumstance you never really have seen a Cast Member yell, curse, or get angry.  It’s very unlikely you will ever see a Cast Member get angry at all.  I can’t speak for all Cast Members but I can speak for myself and pass on what some others I worked with have told me.  Read more

Cast Member’s Corner: Overlooked Streetmosphere

Many guests that come to Disney tend to miss a lot of it.  Sure there are the rides, shows, and characters but have you seen the architecture or hidden Mickey’s?  Have you read the plaques, signs in the windows, or any of the written items when you wait in line?  There is so much more to Disney than just the rides.   One thing I think most people go without noticing or looking for is the streetmosphere.  All of the four Walt Disney World parks have different streetmosphere that fit into their themes. Cast Member’s Corner: It’s Fast, It’s Free, It’s Air Conditioned!

People tend to wonder what the best way to get around Walt Disney World is.  They wonder if getting a taxi is the best bet, or driving their own or rental car.  Some even wonder about those purple public transportation buses.  What most people may not realize though is that Disney has it’s own transportation.  The Disney buses, boats, and monorail.  You don’t have to stay on property at one of the many Disney resorts to take advantage of these methods of transportation either.
