Now that it’s October, it feels like fall is really in full swing. With our most recent trip 5 months behind us, we are definitely all missing Walt Disney World. Our next trip will take place in the fall and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is going to be at the top of our to-do list. Since that’s not happening this year, we have to come up with creative ways to keep the magic alive while we’re over a thousand miles away from Mickey and all of his fun festivities. Read more

Disney with Little Ones: Fun Outside of the Parks
As I mentioned in a recent article, it is important for my family to build in some “rest” days during our Walt Disney World vacations. Disney with Little Ones: Free Play in the Parks
I have 4 and 5 year old little boys who, more often than not, have energy to spare. At home, we enjoy seeking out adventures that offer opportunities for them to run free and use their creative imaginations in open spaces. We have checked out every park and playground in a 30 mile radius, but I never thought about putting “playground” on any of our vacation to-do lists. When I think about trips to Walt Disney World, I picture my kids being somewhat confined much of the time that we spend in the parks. Waiting in lines, sitting at restaurants, and navigating their strollers through dense crowds are all visions that come to mind. Read more
