We are in the middle of Spring Break season across the country and Spring Break means school’s out. When school’s out, you can bet that Walt Disney World is packed. Since the weather is milder than the longer summer break, families flock to Orlando during March and April. Some families are Disney veterans; some are newbies who’ve done their research and are prepared with Fastpasses, dinner reservations, and some kind of touring plan.

Disney with Little Ones: When Sickness Strikes
Unfortunately, this article was inspired by real – life, real – time events. A good friend of mine is currently at Port Orleans Riverside with a very sick little boy on his 3rd birthday. He started feeling a little under the weather 2 days ago but today he became lethargic and hot so mom and dad rushed him to immediate care. They walked away with a bunch of medicine and a pneumonia diagnosis. Naturally, this made me sad because they haven’t been able to fully enjoy their first family Disney World vacation experience. I had never been to Disney during the Springtime until last May. I completed my College Program in the fall and had taken vacations there in the fall or in February during the slow(er) season. We decided to plan around my birthday, my son’s 4th birthday, Mother’s Day, and as luck would have it, the Flower & Garden Festival was taking place during this time as well.
