At Disney’s Animal Kingdome, Finding Nemo-The Musical is an amazing show filled with creative and entertaining puppetry and pageantry.
Finding Nemo was not originally a musical, so the Imagineers were faced with incorporating songs to better enhance the Broadway experience and still keep with re-telling the story of Marlin, the clownfish, doing whatever it takes to find his son, Nemo. Along the way Marlin faces obstacles and meets new friends while making his way to Sydney in search for his son.
Each character comes alive with cleverly camouflaged puppeteers, who take on not only the personality of their puppet, but also a separate yet complimentary character. You won’t forget they are there, but rather feel like they are actually another character in the play. The blue-ray is actually a bicycle with the sting ray hovering above and moving in unison with the peddling. Along the way you will meet Dory, Bruce, Anchor, Crush, Nigel and others.
Finding Nemo – The Musical is in the Theater in the Wild and took the place of Tarzan Rocks. Theater in the Wild is located in Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom on the track from Dino-land to Expedition Everest.
