Terrific Tuesdays: Finding Dory….and Nemo

13443098_10153768528581234_3299973430337741854_oI had the good fortune to see the new movie, Finding Dory on Saturday night at the IMAX Theater. I have to say, I absolutely loved it! But while watching it and experiencing all that 3D does for a movie, it brought me back to thinking about the Finding Nemo show in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Last fall was my first experience seeing the live show and I must say, I was really enjoyed it! Next time though, I  think I will sit in the bubble section! For those who haven’t seen the show, I think bubbles will be great! The front area of the theater has bubbles that fall from the ceiling to enhance the underwater experience.

Finding Nemo was so fun and while it didn’t go into the depth the movie did, it really gave you a sense of all the experiences Marlin and Dory experienced along the way. The puppeteers, to me, added to the experience to give all the characters life.

This show is a must do for kids of all ages, especially the little ones. All the characters are easily recognized and larger than life. Watching the jellyfish come through the theater in front of us was especially breathtaking!

But now with Finding Dory out, I can’t help but think that adding an update with more Dory in it would be wonderful!
