Terrific Tuesdays: Character Meets

I have never been one to go out of my way to meet the characters. I am just fine seeing them as a walk around each park. However, on this last trip with 2 grandkids, I was on the lookout for characters for them to meet!

On our trip through Animal Kingdom, we stumbled across Flik……….. both grandkids remembered their mom saying, “if you see Flik tell him I said hello!” We just had to get in line to see him! It was a little funny, in that neither of the kids really knew who he was! We hadn’t been to It’s Tough to be a Bug yet and the youngest hadn’t seen the movie and the oldest didn’t remember seeing it years ago! It was so cute to see them visit Flik and even better when we did see It’s Tough to be a Bug, when they realized who he was!

Another first this trip for characters, was actually using a Fast Pass to meet Mickey and his friends! There was only a short wait and getting to meet Mickey, Goofy and Minnie was awesome!

Our Grandson and Papaw had stopped to ride Rock N’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios and on the way to meet us, they got in line for something but had no idea what: turns out it was to meet Kylo Ren from Star Wars! Our grandson loved it!

Have you seen any characters that are not normally out and about?
