My husband commented on our last trip that he saw more animals on that trip then he had ever seen before. Reason? We went straight to Kilimanjaro Safari first thing in the morning. The air was cool and the animals were much more active than ever before. It did help that we visited Walt Disney World in November so the mornings were definitely cooler than in August or even September. Read more
After exiting your “2-week” safari in the Harambe Reserve, be sure and take in the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail where you will find not only a very shaded walking trail, but also some very mid-mannered and funny kings of the jungle! These gorillas are quite amusing as they make their way thru the jungle and stop for the occasional drink in the nature brook. Read more
