I just love watching the Fountain of Nations in Epcot’s Future World. It dances to music. It is illuminated with the sun by day and magical lighting at night. And if you stand *just right* when it’s hot out….well it can be quite refreshing!
Even better is that it’s also quite symbolic, in that it was designed to commemorate international cooperation, and when Epcot opened in 1982, representatives from 22 countries poured water from their nation into the Fountain. And when Epcot was re-dedicated on it’s 25th anniversary, the ceremony was repeated, this time with water from each of the nations in World Showcase.
A true Fountain of the World. As with so many things at Walt Disney World, there are details….and then there are DETAILS. 🙂
