What’s red, orange, yellow, green, and loved by kids all over? Well, Itzakadoozie!
This cold and refreshing treat is one of the snack offerings at the Disney parks and resorts. An Itzakadoozie is a 10-inch long popsicle with different flavors intermixed. Despite the fact that it is not chocolate, which I won’t hold against it, it is a great snack for kids and adults alike. All the kids seem to really like them, and I enjoy them myself; mainly because I cannot get them at home.
These treats are part of the Disney Dining Plan Snack List, and are sold at almost all the ice cream carts at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I have not seen them at the Animal Kingdom Park, however. At Epcot, you can also find them at Princess Storybook (Norway), the Garden Grill and Sunshine Seasons (The Land). They are sold at the ice cream cart at Downtown Disney (which is where this picture was taken), as well as many of the Disney resorts. At Blizzard Beach you can find them at the Warming Hut, Frostbite Freddies, and Expeditions.
There are two extra great attributes of the Itzakadoozie that I especially appreciate:
- It is gluten-free and dairy-free, so it offers a great fun snack choice for kids with allergies, and
- If it is hard for you to keep your young ones hydrated, this is a great way to get them some fluids.
Itzakadoozie is just like any other popsicle treat though; if you are eating it in the Florida heat, you better be eating it fast.
ENJOY!

Brenda is a native Texan born and raised on the Gulf Coast. She visited Disney World twice as a teenager and always dreamed of growing her family Disney. She took her first-timer husband and their three children to Disney World in 2000 and they now spend every Thanksgiving there. Brenda writes with a comedic twist on various Disney topics. She will be sharing tips she has learned during her travels and also hopes to enlighten people on little-known freebies that Disney has to offer. She wishes she could have met Walt Disney and considers herself to be a student of Walt. In parallel to his dream it is her wish that everyone would take at least one trip to Disney World in order to share in its magic with their families.
Mmmm that looks yummy! Thanks, I’ll put that on my snack list for our next trip:)
