We all know about the all-important and coveted Character Meet N Greets at the Disney parks. Volumes have been written, printed and noted about where each character can be found in order to make sure your child has the best opportunity for an autograph or a photo op with his or her favorite character. But there is a new kind of Meet N Greet that is also ultra-important and that can be a wonderful addition to your Disney vacation.
Because of Social Media, email and the overblown use of the internet, there is a new meet n greet opportunity. I call it a Disney Friends Meet N Greet and I will happily be welcoming two such opportunities on my trip to Walt Disney World in 33 days. I always say ‘there is no friend like a Disney friend!’ and having the opportunity to meet good friends I have made online, and who happen to be visiting WDW at the same time as me, is a priceless opportunity as far as I am concerned.
In September, I will be meeting my friends and co-writers, Kelly and Mike (as well as their families). Kelly is also known as the Disney Guru and writes with me here on TAM. Mike has his own site, My Dreams of Disney, and writes with me over at Chip & Company. I can’t wait to meet them and their families in person. I hope to maybe even be able to enjoy a ride or two together.
If you have made special Disney friends while engaging in the huge Disney fan network, see if you might like to plan an opportunity to meet some cyber-friends on your next trip to Disney.
Have a wonderful day, cyber-friends!

Brenda is a native Texan born and raised on the Gulf Coast. She visited Disney World twice as a teenager and always dreamed of growing her family Disney. She took her first-timer husband and their three children to Disney World in 2000 and they now spend every Thanksgiving there. Brenda writes with a comedic twist on various Disney topics. She will be sharing tips she has learned during her travels and also hopes to enlighten people on little-known freebies that Disney has to offer. She wishes she could have met Walt Disney and considers herself to be a student of Walt. In parallel to his dream it is her wish that everyone would take at least one trip to Disney World in order to share in its magic with their families.
