Slightly hidden in Adventureland you will find Swiss Family Treehouse. This is not a ride, but rather an attraction. You must be able to climb over 100 steps, which seems a little daunting, but when you see the views of Magic Kingdom as you make your way thru the shipwrecked family home, you will forget those steps. While there are hand-rails along the steps and paths leaving thru and around the treehouse, you should not be fearful of heights and able to make the steps on your own.
This attraction is based on “Swiss Family Robinson”. Their home in the sky is nestled in a towering (man-made) tree which you will have to look twice to realize it isn’t real. Although the Spanish Moss hanging throughout the tree is real. Every detail is laid out and you can almost hear and expect the family to arrive home shortly.
