Walt Disney world has so much to do, to see and to experience that at times it can be quite overwhelming and exhausting! I wouldn’t change any of that for anything, that is what is so exciting about being there. But on this recent trip I needed a “me-moment” as I came to call it later.
We had just came out from watching Muppet Vision 3D and everyone wanted to go in a different direction. Then it hit me – Go ahead, no problem! I grabbed a frapucino from Joffery’s, wandered a little bit through the Back Lot and found a seat in the Studio Catering Co that had not opened yet. The Studio Catering Co was so quiet, even Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground seemed quiet for a short time. Maybe both places knew that shortly after we were there, they would be closing down for good. Looking back, it almost seemed sad.
It was great, sitting there by myself, enjoying the sights and doing some people watching. As I sat there, I discovered something: this will be my “Must-Do” on each trip from now on! Of course, my “Me-Moment” didn’t last more than 15 minutes, but it was perfect to enjoy the last of my drink and to take a breather!
Have you ever done a “Me-Moment” at Walt Disney World? Was it someplace unexpected?
