Some people feel that Epcot is not really a place for kids. I would have to disagree. My family has always loved Epcot, adults and kids alike. There are so many things for kids to enjoy in the World Showcase, it would be disappointing for a family to miss out.

As you reach the International Gateway stop by at the recruitment center for Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure. This is an interactive game where your family can become secret agents and help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Agent P is the alter ego secret-agent of Perry the Platypus. Perry is Phineas & Ferb’s pet. This quest takes you on several missions to find clues to help Agent P. For more information stop by the recruitment center and they will answer any questions you may have.

One thing that my kids loved to do in the World Showcase is the Kidcot fun stops. There are paper puppets available in each pavilion. When you visit the Kidcot area a cast member will stamp or write something from their country on your puppet. You can also draw or color your puppet. The supplies for this are located at each country’s Fun Stop. It is also a nice place for kids to rest if they get tired during the long walk discovering the countries.

There is live entertainment offered thru out the World Showcase. There are character meet and greets located in many areas around the World Showcase. Each country offers a sample of something native from their area. Mexico hosts a Mariachi band. In China you will be wowed by the skills of the Jeweled Dragon acrobats. Live music is heard all thru the World Showcase. There is a juggler and flag wavers to entertain while visiting Italy. You can see axes flying and log rolling in the Canadian pavilion. That is just to name a few.

My suggestion is get to Epcot early in the day to experience all the World Showcase has to offer. When you arrive be sure and pick up a times guide since the performances are scheduled all day at different times. Then you can be sure and not miss what interests you most. You will also find helpful information on the My Disney Experience app with times and locations.

Her friends affectionately call her “the crazy Disney lady”. Denise was born and raised in Oregon. Currently she lives in both Oregon and Florida splitting her time between both parts of the country.
