As we close out the Holiday Season with the beginning of a New Year, I wanted to share some thoughts from our recent trip about Christmas at Disney!
A great time to visit for the Christmas decorations is anytime late November up until the week before Christmas. The crowds are down from the Halloween festival and have not kicked back up the closer to Christmas you get. Walt Disney World is dressed with all the decorations you can imagine, from each of the parks, to the hotels, to the restaurants and Disney Springs!
On our trip in early December, we were able to get pictures in front of the larger than life Christmas trees and see the Holiday Storytellers in all the countries around World Showcase. I was especially impressed that each country a Storyteller and a fascinating story to go along with it!
It is unbelievable how much garland, ribbon, strings of lights, ornaments Disney uses yearly! Another thing that is fascinating to me is how each area of every park is specific to that area where you are. For example, you will find futuristic decorations in Tomorrowland, but not Liberty Square. The countries are decorated specific to each of those countries. Animal Kingdom has very natural and animal themed decorations.
Have you visited while the decorations are up? What is your favorite decoration?
