In all the years I have been traveling to Walt Disney World, I had never taken the time to enjoy the Flights of Wonder, until last year! I had heard from several blog friends and also a close friend that this was a show that I must see. They promised it was not a typical “bird-show”, but rather a show filled with amazing winged animals and that I would definitely walk away being in total awe of these magnificent creatures. Those are pretty high expectations, but after seeing Flights of Wonder, I think it is much more than what they described!
From the colorful Macaws, the cockatoo, owls, hawks, crane and the magnificent eagle, I couldn’t help but just stare with amazement and my jaw literally dropped when they swooped down over the audience with such closeness that I felt the wind from their wings.
This show is not only to show how beautiful these creatures are, but also includes conservation stories about the dangers and perils these wild creatures face. I came away with a better understanding of how our existence on this earth, and how we treat the land we live in, has a direct impact on their survival!
This amazing show is a must-do! You won’t be disappointed!
