Have you ever been at a Disney park or resort and spot something that looks like Mickey and think: “What a coincidence?” It’s not a coincidence at all. Disney does not have coincidences, everything has been extremely well thought out and planned. These Mickey silhouettes are hidden Mickeys that have been strategically placed throughout the property. One of Uncle Walt’s original creations, the Enchanted Tiki Room at the Magic Kingdom has changed a few times since it’s beginning. It was one of the original attractions when Magic Kingdom first opened, and as many of the other rides and attractions were, was brought over from Disneyland. Walt’s original idea was to have it as a restaurant with real birds, but then he thought about the mess that would have meant, and…it became animatronic! Read more
