Disney Fun From Around the World: Week of May 17, 2010

I enjoyed reading some great Disney blogs this past week. It’s always so hard for me to choose my favorites 12236130441082257790shokunin_icon_with_globe_svg_medto share with you each Saturday…but if I must, I must. 🙂

Here are a few of the ones that I thought were especially cool:

Chip and Co. always has great blog posts. Two that I especially enjoyed were Disney Food Confession – Oreo Cookie Ice Cream Milkshake (doesn’t that sound yummy?) and this one from Chris: Top Eats: Top Five Character Meals which will be very helpful when trying to book your next character meal!

Disney Food Blog provided another food-related post, that will be so helpful in planning your Advanced Dining Reservations:5 Best “One-Credit” Disney Dining Values

The official Disney Parks Blog reminded us about some of the “lesser-known” attractions all around the parks: The “Characters” of Main Street, U.S.A.

Disney College Blog shared her Favorite Rides: Harder than It Looks

Will you have some time without your kids at Disney World? Be sure to read this great post from Walt Disney World: It’s Not Just for Kids to learn about great Activities for an adult couple with ONE kidless day

And finally, forgive my shameless plug for my posts over at Chip and Co. this week: Thinking About a Disney World Christmas? Why You Need to Start Planning Now. and That Disney Christmas Magic.

OK everyone. Happy reading and have a magical weekend! 🙂

Wordless Wednesday: Terrific Topiaries

100_0082

One of the things that I enjoy the most when visiting Walt Disney World are the details…and they are literally everywhere. The thing is, most of us are so busy running from one ride or attraction to the next, that we just don’t take the time to see some pretty neat things.  So next time you are at Disney World, be on the lookout for just about anything…and who knows, you might come across a dancing princess and her favorite dwarf….or is it just a terrific topiary? 🙂

Have a magical day!

And Chris over there provides a quick rundown on one of my favorite Disney desserts: Disney Food Confession: S’mores from the 50s Prime Time Cafe.

I learned a lot fromDisney 4 Dads this week, from their post: Here’s our list of Cool Disney World Secrets.

Disney Food Blog provides another mouth-watering review of another one of my favorite desserts (do you see a pattern here?): Dole Whips, Dole Whips, Everywhere…

The Disney Parks Blog shares information on one  of their “best kept secrets” the Harmony Barber Shop at Walt Disney World Resort

If you are considering the Disney Dining Plan for your next vacation, then be sure to read this from Only WDWorld who has a great discussion on the Best Disney Dining Plan Snacks

Disney Fun From Around the World: Week of April 26, 2010

As usual, there was some great information out there in Disney Blog Land this past week. Here are some that I 12236130441082257790shokunin_icon_with_globe_svg_medfound especially interesting and helpful:

Meltdown Free Disney tells why it is better to Travel Tuesday. No. Really. Travel On Tuesdays.

Chip and Co. had two posts that I thought were exceptionally helpful this week. First, there is a great post by Chris that discusses some of the latest Disney promotions: Free Dining vs. Room Discounts: Which Is the Better Deal? And then Lisa helps us in Packing for Walt Disney World with a Baby

On The DVC Life Katie discusses getting around Walt Disney World in to car rental or not to car rental

And then for those who want to preserve those magical memories long after your trip is over, A Mom and the Mouse at the Daily Disney has information for Scrapbookers: Have you checked out the latest Disney digital supplies?

OK, that’s it for this week everyone. Have a magical weekend!
