Our Disney Vacation: Leaving the Magic Behind…

Our WONDERFUL Disney World vacation has come and gone….I can’t believe it’s already over…seems we waited so long for it to get here…and POOF…it’s done!  But what an AWESOME time we had…each day was better than the day before!  And my long awaited dream of being there with my daughter…and seeing HER experience Disney World for the first time…came true…and it was truly magical!!  She was like a little girl again…laughing, wide-eyed, and relaxed…enjoying every sight and sound…finally getting to ride all of the rides she had dreamed about since she was young…and hearing her say that the fireworks and light show on Cinderella’s castle made her want to cry because it was  so beautiful…those are moments with her that I will never forget! Our Disney Vacation: We’re on Our Way to Disney World….Finally!!

 As you are reading this, we are driving towards Orlando and our Disney World vacation!!  EEEEKKK!!!!  We made a stop in Lake Charles, LA our first night because we both had to work all day (by the way I got NOTHING accomplished…way too excited) and then spent  the last two nights in Panama City Beach, FL  having some fun in the sun and now we are heading to Orlando!!   Read more

Disney Vacation Planning: How Often is Too Much?

This is a tough question, because most enthusiasts feel it is NEVER often enough to go! Many a Disney lover has given up their regular lives and moved to Walt Disney World to become a cast member. or retired to the area, just so they can be there on a more regular basis. For those of us, who can’t leave their homes for a variety of reasons, or retiring to WDW just isn’t in the cards yet, I say, go as often as you can. Our Disney Vacation: 32 Days to Go

It’s getting closer….the excitement is building….we’ve waited as long as we can….the suitcases are coming out!!!  As soon as we put that first item in our suitcase, it will begin to seem real that we are actually going to Disney World….SOON!!!  YAY!!!   We all have our trips paid off as of last week (45 days out) and everyone is getting antsy to get this show on the road!!
